Overview

The Gulfstream G700, certified in 2022, is the largest purpose-built business jet in history. With a cabin length of 17.35 m and five distinct living areas, it offers more interior space than any business jet ever produced — more than the Global 7500 and approaching VIP airliner territory.

Powered by two Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines, the G700 delivers a range of 14,260 km at Mach 0.85 — connecting Singapore to San Francisco, London to Sydney (one stop), or Dubai to Los Angeles nonstop. The cabin features Gulfstream's circadian lighting system, industry-leading low cabin altitude, and the option of a grand suite with fixed bed and full shower.

Cabin Layout

The G700 cabin can be configured with up to five living areas — a first in business aviation:

  • Forward zone: Six-place conference/dining area with berthing capability
  • Mid-forward zone: Club seating for work and socializing
  • Mid-aft zone: Entertainment/lounge area with large displays
  • Aft zone: Private suite or additional seating
  • Grand Suite: Fixed bed, full stand-up shower, and dedicated wardrobe

The G700 features Gulfstream's circadian lighting system that adjusts color temperature throughout the flight to help passengers adapt to time zone changes, reducing jet lag on long-haul flights. Twenty panoramic oval windows and the lowest cabin altitude in the industry (approximately 1,311 m at FL510) complete the wellness-focused cabin experience.

Competitors

The G700 competes directly with the Bombardier Global 7500 — the only other ultra-long-range business jet with comparable range and cabin size. The G700 offers a larger cabin (17.35 m vs. 16.66 m), the Symmetry Flight Deck with active-control sidesticks, and five living areas (vs. four). The Global 7500 counters with a slightly wider cabin and the Rolls-Royce Pearl 15 engine.
